We were appointed to design an apartment scheme for a site in Dublin 2, an exciting opportunity to complete the historic pattern of development along this stretch of the street in the heart of Georgian Dublin.
Three commercial premises were replaced with a substantial apartment development, keeping a commercial unit on the ground floor, with permission for a penthouse later on.
Seven apartments provided on four levels over commercial space at street level has formed a compact and highly efficient use of a rare urban infill site. Each individual apartment was carefully designed to provide very high quality living space. High ceilings and generous glazing bring light deep into the floor plan. Externally, carefully selected finishes complement the surrounds, while modern design elements set the building apart as a fresh contemporary insertion into this historic streetscape.
