Protected Victorian structure with a new modern extension and bits of work involving generous glazing
Our clients, a young family, wanted more living space and a better connection to the garden of their home in Ranelagh. We replaced a substandard and cramped rear 1960s return with a bright spacious modern extension in white brick, containing a large open plan kitchen/living, a playroom and guest bedroom across three levels.
A double height glazed screen and a feature bespoke glass window box throw light deep into the floor plan , which is linked back to the main house via a glazed connection setting it apart as a boldly contemporary addition to this period property.
